Sweeet.com was one of the biggest SP sites, and it was probably the most popular 3D SP art site. Justin "Juz" Trevena began making SP art in 1998 with 3D Studio Max on a Pentium III 800mhz machine with 256mb RAM. The images on this page were uploaded on Sweeet.com between 1998 and 2002.
Trevena still does 3D modeling work, isn't that awesome?? You can find his newer art on his ArtStation, DeviantArt, and Reddit pages. This thread is short but SUCH a delight to read!
